NAVARRO TAKES CONFIDENCE BACK IN MISANO TEST

It was a solid two-day test for the Federal Oil Gresini Racing team and Jorge Navarro, who was able to complete a significant amount of laps (91) at the Misano World Circuit with a quickest lap-time of 1’37.810secs.
The 21-year-old Spaniard and his crew has worked mainly on the suspensions of the Kalex Honda Moto2 machine #9, in order to find the feeling with the bike he was missing at Le Mans four days ago.
Despite crashing unhurt at turn 15 yesterday, Navarro was happy with the outcome of the test and has left the Italian circuit in perfect fitness condition.
JORGE NAVARRO #9
“It has been a very positive test. We have analysed and sorted out the issued we had in Le Mans. The set-up we found was good and we were able to lap quite fast. The race pace was encouraging as well, so we are now going to Mugello with a bit more confidence in our chances, which is what we needed the most.
