The rider of <strong>Team<\/strong><strong>K\u00f6mmerling Gresini Moto3 <\/strong>tried everything he could to stay out on track \u2013 hoping for a red flag \u2013 but a badly-damaged handlebar forced him to an early retirement after two laps completed.<\/p>\n<p>Riccardo Rossi \u2013 who was at his first-ever race at this track \u2013 this was another opportunity to gather more experience. The Italian, who lapped with a mid-1\u201928secs pace, could not finish hither than 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, with more than 30secs from the winner at the chequered flag. This race wrapped up a difficult first-half of the season for the Moto3 rookie, but the rhythm shown in the second half of the race was surely encouraging.<\/p>\n<p>With a month-break ahead, both team and riders will regroup in order to return to action on best form at Brno on early August.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DNF &#8211; GABRI RODRIGO #19<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s not much I can say. Unfortunately this first half of the season has been quite unkind to us, and today it was surely the lowest point. These things happen, but it\u2019s a shame because we had the pace to stay with the leaders and the team deserves more. We will take this break to find a bit more serenity in order to turn this 2019 around at Brno and Spielberg.<\/p>\n<p><strong>22<sup>nd<\/sup>&#8211; RICCARDO ROSSI #54<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe made a big step forward compared to Friday, on a track that was new to me although I can say I really liked it. It was only my second race with the hard tyre and the feeling is good.
