Matteo Ferrari and Lorenzo Savadori have worked well during the two sessions available on a track they had not race upon before, while trying to find the braking marks and finding the limit upon the Energica bikes #11 and #32.<\/p>\n<p>Matteo Ferrari was the fastest one of the two as he set the sixth-fastest time, which was two tenths slower than provisional pole, so he is likely be among the protagonists in tomorrow\u2019s E-Pole. Lorenzo Savadori had more of a challenging day as he struggled in finding the right set-up for the bike. The experienced Italian rider will try to make the most of the extra FP3 session (which is currently scheduled only for the Austrian event), which will get underway at 8:30 local time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6<sup>th<\/sup>&#8211; MATTEO FERRARI #11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy because during FP1 the gap with the top riders was lower than in the first race in Germany. I was able to improve during the second session and not many did, but I don\u2019t think Tuuli\u2019s time counts because he had a new bike and fresh battery. We\u2019re two tenths away from econd place, we tried two different gearings and with FP3 we\u2019ll try some more. The feeling with the bike is good, even though the circuit is nothing but easy: definitely more difficult than Sachsenring.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>13<sup>th<\/sup>&#8211; LORENZO SAVADORI #32<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly it didn\u2019t go too well. I never raced here before, but this morning we were quicker than this afternoon.
