After this morning\u2019s FP3 session \u2013 which was introduced here in Austria \u2013 both Matteo Ferrari and Lorenzo Savadori showed significant improvements aboard the Energica motorcycles #11 and #32.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon \u2013 with radically different track conditions \u2013 Ferrari was able to repeat the low-1\u201935secs lap-time set this morning, which was enough to clinch the seventh place on the grid of the #AustrianGP. Savadori, meanwhile, is still working on a riding style that would work better in this category and was 13<sup>th<\/sup>at the end of the single-lap qualifying session.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The second race of the first-ever edition of MotoE will see the standard bearers of <strong>Team Trentino Gresini MotoE <\/strong>try to be among the protagonists courtesy of a great race pace, with the encounter set to get underway at 10:00 local time (GMT+2)<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>MATTEO FERRARI #11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy, because we improved a lot this morning and we\u2019re really close to the front. My performance in the E-Pole was an 8 out of 10, because I basically matched my best time of the weekend but I made a mistake during the T3 entering turn seven, which cost me all the margin I had. I\u2019m happy because I\u2019ve never been a \u201cqualifying guy\u201d, but things and going well so far this year. We have the pace to race at the front so let\u2019s wait and see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>LORENZO SAVADORI #32<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cQualifying didn\u2019t go too well because in FP3 without traffic I could have been eighth, so I was hoping for something more in the E-Pole. Unfortunately we are trying to experimenting a bit, using brakes in a different way like the guys at the front in this category, but unfortunately I made a bit of confusion and lost some time.
