The Spaniard, who was called up from CEV to replace the currently injured Gabriel Rodrigo (who is recovering from collarbone and pelvic fractures), did not disappoint as he crossed the line in 18<sup>th<\/sup>place \u2013 and then demoted to 21<sup>st<\/sup>for exceeding track limits. Alcoba kept improving throughout the weekend and therefore leaves the Red Bull Ring in high spirits.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Not the same feeling for Riccardo Rossi, who was also making his debut at the Red Bull Ring. After an encouraging first day and a lot of motivation, the Italian ended up with a very different outcome than expected. The mixed conditions and a penalty (long lap) prevented him from finishing any higher than 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There is now one full week before battle resumes at Silverstone \u2013 with an eye on Rodrigo\u2019s recovery from injury.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>21<sup>st<\/sup>&#8211; JEREMY ALCOBA #52<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt has been a complicated weekend: the pressure of the world stage, the new bike and a circuit I didn\u2019t know before\u2026 It wasn\u2019t easy, but we showed some good stuff. I must admit than after Friday I had a lot of pressure, but then we put together a decent race, especially given the difficult track conditions. I must probably be satisfied with what I did, being my debut here, as I felt good on the bike, so I\u2019m leaving Austria with a smile.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>23<sup>rd<\/sup>&#8211;\u00a0 RICCARDO ROSSI #54<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn the early laps I could barely ride the bike: it was moving a lot and I was struggling with the front end.
