Following an Austrian Grand Prix that surely did not meet expectations, the Briton made the most of the post-race, one-day official test by completing an incredible number of laps (105) while trying to improve his feeling with the front-end of his Kalex machine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With fresh confidence and desire to get back on track at the venue where he has claimed pole position twice already \u2013 in 2015 and 2016 \u2013 Sam Lowes and the team will begin their work at 10:55 local time on Friday (GMT +1). The Moto2 race will instead held after the MotoGP encounter at 14:30 on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>SAM LOWES #22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m obviously charged up because we\u2019re heading to my home track, where I\u2019ve already been on pole position twice. The Austrian test \u2013 on a track which is among the most challenging ones for my riding style \u2013 has brought some good ideas especially with regards to the front-end of the bike.
