An extremely demanding track for bikes and riders. Besides the technical characteristics, variable weather and a high humidity level require constant work on the setup, whereas the riders must put their physical stamina to a hard test.<\/p>\n<p>The Aprilia Racing Team Gresini arrives in Malaysia on the wings of enthusiasm after the spectacular performance at Phillip Island. At the end of a heated race, Andrea Iannone rode his RS-GP to sixth place, just a few tenths from the podium, whereas Aleix Espargar\u00f3 battled in the leading pack, finishing in the top 10. This is the team\u2019s best result in Aprilia\u2019s MotoGP history and a confidence booster for the Malaysian race.<\/p>\n<p><b>ALEIX ESPARGAR\u00d2<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;At Phillip Island we were rather competitive, despite the circuit not being one of my favourites. On the other hand, I really like Sepang and in the tests at the beginning of the season I was able to be rather fast. I can\u2019t wait to get out on the track. It will be a weekend with a lot of unknowns, but I&#8217;m ready.&#8221;<\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>ANDREA IANNONE<\/b><\/p>\n<p><i>&#8220;We are coming from a good race where we were able to take full advantage of the track characteristics and the bike. In any case, we know that in Sepang, at least on paper, things will be more complicated. There are long straights and acceleration points from low speed &#8211; aspects where we are still lacking a bit.
