Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 <\/strong>leaves the south of Spain with a lot more certainties at the end of the three-day test at Jerez de la Frontera. Both Nicol\u00f2 Bulega and Edgar Pons have confirmed the good impressions gathered in the previous outing at this track, which will host the first European round of the 2020 season.<\/p>\n

Nicol\u00f2 Bulega<\/strong>, who focused his work on front fork and swingarm, has put in a consistent amount of work as he went from the 1\u201942.1secs lap-time of day one to a personal best time of 1\u201940.661. The young Italian new recruit of Gresini Racing has showed continuing improvement as he finished within the top3 of the timesheets at this test.<\/p>\n

Edgar Pons <\/strong>also worked well as he got more and more comfortable aboard the Kalex machine with Dunlop tyres #57. The Spaniard, despite two crashes occurred yesterday at turn two, mainly worked with the team on the front fork and on different tyre options. He lapped in 1\u201941.042, which was very close to the top-ten.<\/p>\n

3\u00ba – NICOL\u00d2 BULEGA (1.40’719)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWe struggled a bit in the opening sessions with some areas of the bike, but we managed to pinpoint the problems and solve them quickly. Yesterday I was already six tenths quicker compared to day one and with clear track I would have found a great time attack. Today things went even better. I\u2019m leaving Jerez with great feelings and not only due to today\u2019s lap-time: we are working well with the team and we\u2019re improving session after session.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a very positive test. We worked hard on the bike set-up and I must say we recorded very interesting lap-times with the harder tyre option while finding a great race pace, while regarding the time attack \u2013 which I only tried today \u2013 things went quite well. We are already showing that we belong in this category. Unfortunately I had a couple of \u2018excursions\u2019 at turn two yesterday, but when you try new settings you must push to the limit in order to evaluate them and\u2026 I ended up crashing.
