With this fourth place, Rodrigo moves up a couple of places in the standings and he is now eighth and 58 points away from Arenas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jeremy Alcoba<\/strong> had a flamboyant race after starting from 14<sup>th<\/sup> place. The Spanish rider did well in leading the second group of riders and almost managed to bridge the gap with the front runners. But with ten laps left, he made a mistake at turn three, an \u2018innocuous\u2019 low-side crash aside from the affected mood of the rider.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; GABRIEL RODRIGO #2 (general standing 8th &#8211; 48 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had a great pace today but I made a big mistake coming out of the last turn with few laps to go and I got passed by at least five riders. I struggled to make my way back to the positions I\u2019ve been in throughout the majority of the race. During the last lap I had the podium in my target, but Ogura had a perfect final lap and I did a small mistake in the third split, which didn\u2019t allow me to take a shot at the podium. We could have deserved a bit more, but we\u2019re now looking forward to the next races.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>DNF &#8211; JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (general standing 12th &#8211; 30 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe worked well but in the race things didn\u2019t go as planned. It took me ages to overtake a Leopard rider, and when I did it I was confident I could bridge the gap to the leading group.
