This year, the #11 rider gets to his home track with great motivation and the goal to turn the page on the crash at Jerez, which will also cost him three positions on the starting grid in the opening race.<\/p>\n<p>Misano will be a chance to see Alessandro Zaccone back in action, after the Italian had quite a difficult time due to an injury and being on the receiving end of a collision \u2013 which made him miss almost the entirety of the Andalusian trip. His season officially begins this Friday, with the first free practice scheduled at 11:50 local time (GMT +2).<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATTEO FERRARI #11 (6<sup>th<\/sup> in the world cup standings \u2013 20 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re charged up, because I was able to train hard and also race in WorldSBK at Aragon as substitute rider for Mercado. Mercado is always filled with great emotions and I couldn\u2019t wait, because we left Jerez with a crash and that is hard to make it sink if not by racing. We\u2019re fast and we know it, but we cannot leave anything to chance: last year we won, but every year is a different story and we surely have to make the most of these three races before Le Mans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>ALESSANDRO ZACCONE #61<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWords can\u2019t explain my desire to race again. Physically speaking I\u2019m back to full strength, I also race in the CEV without any issue and I\u2019m ready for Misano, a track where I want to turn the page on the first two MotoE races, which I almost entirely missed.
