If for the Argentine the nearly-missed podium in Austria will be the starting point to build upon for the remaining of the season, for the Spaniard there are many reasons to try to surprise everyone\u2026<\/p>\n<p>Fresh from a contract extension with Team Gresini, Alcoba suffered his first crash of the season in what was a Spielberg to forget. Furthermore, he will have to test his quick-learning skills once again on a track he has only seen on TV or \u2018ridden\u2019 upon with the PS4. There will be a lot to learn for the rookie #52 before getting on track from 9am local time (GMT +2) this Friday, with the first free practice sessions of the \u2018Gran Premio di San Marino e Riviera di Rimini\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>GABRIEL RODRIGO #2 (8<sup>th<\/sup> in the championship standings with 48 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter the last race, in which we solved the issues that prevented us from being as competitive as we\u2019d liked, we get to Misano with great desire to do well. This is a track I like and that suits my riding style. I did well there in the last two years and two back-to-back weekends will surely help our progression. We need to leave this circuit with a sweet taste in our mouth and we\u2019ll do the best to make it happen.\u201d<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (12<sup>th<\/sup> in the championship standings with 30 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFinally we get to a circuit I don\u2019t know, and I must say I\u2019m excited about it. This is the team\u2019s home track and it will be my very first time there. I played a bit with the PlayStation at this track, but not too much. I watched some races as well, but during this break I just tried to distract myself a little from racing in order to get to these two events in the right frame of mind.
