{"id":14635,"date":"2020-09-18T15:32:21","date_gmt":"2020-09-18T13:32:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/top10-a-misano-nelle-prime-libere-dell-emiliaromagnagp\/"},"modified":"2020-09-18T15:35:29","modified_gmt":"2020-09-18T13:35:29","slug":"top10-a-misano-nelle-prime-libere-dell-emiliaromagnagp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/en\/top10-a-misano-nelle-prime-libere-dell-emiliaromagnagp\/","title":{"rendered":"TOP TEN FOR ALCOBA AND RODRIGO IN DAY ONE AT #EMILIAROMAGNAGP  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It takes a moment to go from rookie to veteran\u2026 In only a week, <strong>Jeremy Alcoba<\/strong> went from being 23<sup>rd<\/sup> in the combined times of last round\u2019s opening day to become one of the absolute protagonists of the #SanMarinoGP and, today, of the free practice sessions of #EmiliaRomagnaGP.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Spanish rider shone in particular this morning as he ended up second in the opening session of the day (despite the 15-minute penalty from entering the track) and, by being sixth at the end of the day, he is almost granted a direct seed to tomorrow\u2019s Q2.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>A similar path was taken by <strong>Gabriel Rodrigo<\/strong>, who was very quick in the morning and close to the leaders, while his afternoon progression was halted by a crash in all way similar to the one occurred last Friday: a lowside at turn 16 and a lot of time lost in the final part of the session.<\/p>\n<p>The direct access to Q2 should be a formality also for the #2 rider of <strong>Team K\u00f6mmerling Gresini Moto3 <\/strong>even though there\u2019ll be a ninth place to defend in tomorrow morning\u2019s FP3, which get underway at 9:00 local time (GMT +2).<\/p>\n<p><strong>6<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (1\u201942.126) <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe did a good job: this morning, with the hard tyre, we set some good lap-times and without slipstream. I thought I was going to struggle less in the afternoon, but with the hard tyre it wasn\u2019t easy. Once I put the soft tyre on I feel great with an incredible first split, but unfortunately due to a bit too much traffic I couldn\u2019t set a good time \u2013 I was sure we could have made it in the top three.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>9<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; GABRIEL RODRIGO #2 (1\u201942.212)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe went well this morning and in the afternoon we worked on our race pace, with good results. We had a small crash, nothing too important.
