Today\u2019s free practice \u2013 wind aside \u2013 have confirmed the good feeling for both riders aboard their Kalex machine, with the two riders finishing in 13<sup>th<\/sup> and 17<sup>th<\/sup> respectively and separated by less than two tenths of a second.<\/p>\n<p>The morning session was key for both. Bulega logged a 1\u201944.936 and he is, for now, within the group of riders that will be seeded to tomorrow\u2019s Q2. Pons worked more on his race pace and avoided taking any risk in the afternoon, when weather conditions worsened and the wind reached a \u2018top speed\u2019 of 45km\/h.<\/p>\n<p><strong>13<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; NICOL\u00d2 BULEGA #11 (1\u201944.936)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt wasn\u2019t easy to ride in the afternoon. We still worked on the set-up\u00a0 and found a good one ahead of tomorrow. I must say that it could have gone a lot better but a faulty tyre, which was confirmed by Dunlop, had limited us a bit. We\u2019re still doing some decent lap-times and I think we can do even better tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>17<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; EDGAR PONS #57 (1\u201945.124)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re closer. This is a circuit I know and this morning we were in the top 15, while in the afternoon \u2013 with a lot of wind \u2013 I chose not to take any risk.
