It was a very unfortunate circumstance for the Italian rider #11, who had a great start, although while entering turn one Di Giannantonio lost the front and slid towards the gravel trap and brought with him the unlucky Bulega.<\/p>\n<p>Things did not go any better for <strong>Edgar Pons<\/strong>, who ends his final race as a professional rider with no glory. The Spaniard was forced to an early retirement after few laps due to a mechanical problem.<\/p>\n<p>A bitter season for <strong>Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2<\/strong> draws therefore to a close, with only 37 points collected and the two riders in 20<sup>th <\/sup>(Bulega) and 26<sup>th <\/sup>(Pons) overall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DNF NICOL\u00d2 BULEGA #11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot much to say\u2026 as often the case this year we weren\u2019t very lucky. Not even the time to attack turn one and I was taken out\u2026 It\u2019s a shame because we were doing a good weekend and we could have played our part in the race. Let\u2019s take a little break now and get back to work as soon as possible for a different 2021!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>DNF EDGAR PONS #57<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry especially for the team. A very important stage of my life, one full of emotions, draws to a close. Before the race I was very emotional and I couldn\u2019t focus\u2026 I couldn\u2019t ride the way I wanted and I also took many risks\u2026 I didn\u2019t want to finish the season this way, but the emotions got the better of me.
