The good season start demonstrated by a competitive 2021 RS-GP and Aleix Espargar\u00f3 in grand form boosted morale for the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini, now preparing for exams in Jerez de la Frontera. A complete and demanding track, quite capable of creating problems for setups and riders who must work in perfect harmony in order to overcome the Andalusian track.<\/span><\/p>\n

Aleix arrives with confidence boosted by his sixth place in the rider standings and, above all, by an undeniably positive feeling. The Spanish rider is also keenly aware that he must tackle every race with maximum concentration, because even the slightest gap can make the difference.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lorenzo Savadori continues to grow, after his first championship points in Portim\u00e3o. This is an important and encouraging sign for a rookie rider in a new category who still has plenty of margin for improvement.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

\n“We are definitely coming into this weekend with a positive outlook. In the first three races, we tackled two circuits which were both particular in their own way, but still showing that we have the pace to battle with the best. Jerez is a \u2018traditional\u2019 track, if you will, but very complete and therefore demanding. In the winter tests I felt good here, but now we\u2019ll find different conditions and, more importantly, fierce rivals. We’re not afraid of the challenge because we are working well and we need to keep growing.”<\/em><\/span><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

\n“The points in Portim\u00e3o are definitely an important signal for my confidence. I am still lacking something to be able to finish in the points consistently. This is an impressive championship, as are the rivals we go up against every weekend. My goal remains the same. I need to aim at reducing the gap both behind the best and behind my teammate. In every session, we add another building block, learning more about the bike and the settings.
