{"id":16852,"date":"2021-05-26T08:09:03","date_gmt":"2021-05-26T06:09:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/?p=16852"},"modified":"2021-05-25T11:06:22","modified_gmt":"2021-05-25T09:06:22","slug":"seconda-doppietta-stagionale-per-il-team-federal-oil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/en\/seconda-doppietta-stagionale-per-il-team-federal-oil\/","title":{"rendered":"SECOND BACK-TO-BACK TRIP FOR TEAM FEDERAL OIL  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The European season enters its key part with Mugello and Montmel\u00f3 as back-to-back rounds. <strong>Team Federal Oil Moto2 <\/strong>gets to Italy with fresh confidence thanks to a Di Giannantonio who has always been a protagonist in this 2021 season so far (one podium and one win) and to Nicol\u00f2 Bulega, who finally managed to score his first points in France.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mugello <\/strong>will be the top event for the two Italian riders, who both love this track. Here <strong>Fabio Di Giannantonio <\/strong>has already scored three podiums there in Moto3 (with Gresini Racing) and even in the only Moto2 race he took part there (in 2019, his rookie year) he managed to finish in the top ten. <strong>Nicol\u00f2 Bulega<\/strong> also had some good results at this track, especially in Moto3, but he also managed to show his talent in Moto2 with a fourth place in qualifying the last time the series raced at Mugello.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Barcelona <\/strong>will be a whole different story with a slightly modified track but also a good test completed last week, which they can both count on. Last year, Di Giannantonio stepped on the podium (3<sup>rd <\/sup>place) while Bulega\u2019s best result is a fifth place in 2016 (Moto3).<\/p>\n<p><strong>FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #21<\/strong> (<strong>5<sup>th<\/sup> in the championship standings \u2013 58 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow much did I miss Mugello\u2026 that is THE track. With the Barcelona test still in my veins, I\u2019m really looking forward to use all we\u2019ve learned. Too bad we will be still without the crowd, but to race there is always an exciting thing. We want to be among the protagonists both at Mugello and Barcelona, which is also among my favourite tracks, and we\u2019ve also been very quick there during testing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>NICOL\u00d2 BULEGA #11 (23<sup>rd<\/sup> in the championship standings \u2013 3 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven without the crowd, Mugello is still the top track and I\u2019m charged up for this weekend. We have to build on the result in Le Mans, which is our starting point: we will have to keep improving from there. Barcelona is also a track I like, we have completed 200 laps last week during testing and we will have plenty of data to make good use of during the Grand Prix.
