GermanGP qualifying<\/strong>. Fabio Di Giannantonio <\/strong>has claimed today his second front-row start of the season \u2013 the fifth in Moto2 and sixth overall \u2013 at the end of the final qualifying session at the Sachsenring, by setting the second-quickest time this afternoon. This is an excellent result for the soon-to-be MotoGP rookie, who had already shown his potential at this track (he qualified fourth back in 2019 in his debut Moto2 season).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The standard bearer of Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2 <\/strong>also had a 1\u201923.6secs lap-time cancelled due to exceeding track limits, meaning he ended the session with a personal best of 1\u201923.744, three tenths shy of pole position.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Nicol\u00f2 Bulega <\/strong>managed to put together a good performance as well after clinching the direct seed to Q2 in the morning. He eventually finished 11th<\/sup>, an encouraging result ahead of tomorrow\u2019s race (12:20 GMT +2) especially in light of the much improved physical conditions which could grant him the chance to battle for a strong result.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy. It was really important to be on the front row here. We\u2019re back to the type of work we were doing in Jerez and today\u2019s result is a clear sign of this. Tomorrow\u2019s race is going to be a very tough one especially with this type of heat and the fact that the front-tyre temperature rises quite significantly when tailing another rider.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor many reasons, including physical ones, we were not competitive in the last races, but I\u2019m happy with today\u2019s performance.
