The Italian rider is currently eighth in the series standings, albeit with a small gap to the top (27 points).<\/p>\n<p>The 2020 runner up has already raced at this track in the past (in the Moto3 World Championship) and the same applies to <strong>Andrea Mantovani,<\/strong> who raced at Assen with the STK1000 cup in 2016 (he was 5<sup>th<\/sup> in the race). This is surely a competitive advantage that both riders need to exploit, weather permitting\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATTEO FERRARI #11<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(8<sup>th<\/sup> in the series standings \u2013 27 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe weather will be unpredictable just like Le Mans, and I remember it clearly from my past experience in Moto3. We need to improve session by session in order to be competitive for the race and battle for the key positions. We worked hard in Faenza in order to be ready and I can\u2019t wait to race at the Cathedral of motorcycle racing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>ANDREA MANTOVANI #9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>(16<sup>th<\/sup> in the series standings \u2013 10 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a long time since I last raced at Assen and I\u2019m really looking forward to returning there. I consider it the university of motorcycle racing and this sentence says it all.
