The circuits and conditions change, but Aleix Espargar\u00f3 continues to take his RS-GP to the top spots. At the end of a qualifying session characterised by extremely fast times, Aleix took a spot on the second row with a time of 1’46.883 for the GP tomorrow. His pace is also good in view of a race where tyre wear will play a fundamental role.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maverick Vi\u00f1ales is approaching his race debut with Aprilia after two days where he improved session after session. The race tomorrow will also be one of Maverick\u2019s first steps in getting to know his new bike and his team. The progress demonstrated today will also be encouraging for him: the Spaniard shaved another second off of his best time from yesterday.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

\n“We did a good job again today. In qualifying we had the potential to do a bit better, but the second row is still a good position to start well and stay in the group. In the race, I expect to be able to stay with the fastest riders \u2013 that\u2019s what the analysis of my pace says \u2013 although I don\u2019t think that it will be the fastest rider who will win, but rather the one who uses the tyres the best in the final laps. From this point of view, I am comforted by the way the RS-GP performed during FP4.”<\/em><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n

\n“I continued to improve and learn new things today about how the RS-GP works. Evidently, I need to change my style to take better advantage of this bike\u2019s strong points, especially in braking and in acceleration, but overall I must say that the potential is excellent. I\u2019m convinced that we\u2019ll be able to take another step forward in the race tomorrow as well in terms of feeling.
