He eventually bagged seven points, which did not help his situation in the championship as his main rivals (Fernandez and Canet) finished ahead of him.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nicol\u00f2 Bulega <\/strong>could not finish higher than 17<sup>th<\/sup>, at the end of a weekend in which the Italian showed he could battle for the top ten. After showing a great pace in the warm up, the expectations for the race were very different \u2013 as he experienced a few too many issues, including maybe a not perfectly-performing tyre.<\/p>\n<p><strong>9<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #21 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t be happy as we were looking for a very different result\u2026 I was expecting a bit better because the feeling this morning was good, but the race was super quick and I lost some ground at the beginning due to a coming together. We still need something set-up wise, so we will have to work a lot more in order to go back to the type of performance and results we are capable of.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>17<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; NICOL\u00d2 BULEGA #11 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe race data are on our side&#8230; It\u2019s very likely that, just like in FP3, once we changed tyres the performance of the bikes changed dramatically. Too bad, because I did well in the warm up and showed a pace that would have allowed us to comfortably be in the top ten; instead we struggled a lot and took many risks in order to be as fast as we could.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>#SanMarinoGP race.
