Fabio Di Giannantonio and Nicol\u00f2 Bulega took to the track with the aim of improving their performances compared to the previous event at this track held last April.<\/p>\n<p>The strong winds encountered today have made the job harder for the two Gresini standard bearers, who had a challenging time especially on the fourth sector. Bulega also experienced a technical problem in the morning, which limited his track time in FP1. The #11 is only two tenths away from a possible direct seed to Q2, while Diggia, who is currently 12<sup>th<\/sup>, is half a second away from Fernadez\u2019s provisional pole position.<\/p>\n<p>As always, the Moto2 field is very levelled, with tomorrow morning\u2019s Free Practice 3 being key for the chances of a good qualifying. The session will begin at 10:55 local time (GMT).<\/p>\n<p><strong>12<sup>th<\/sup> FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #21 (1\u201943.744)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday things were more complicated than I had expected. I thought my pace was better and that I was quicker, but in the end is only day one. We struggled a lot with the traffic on track: basically I was never able to complete a lap or a run without someone getting in the way. The wind and the fourth sector were also a problem, together with the lack of slipstreams, but we\u2019ll work on all of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>18<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; NICOL\u00d2 BULEGA #11 (1\u201944.077)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis morning a technical problem slowed us down, and unfortunately I lost almost half a session. We did well on track though, as lap by lap we ended up improving by half a second, but obviously we lost some ground from our opponents at the same time. We did quite a good job in the afternoon, even though we put the softer tyres on only at the end of the session and I only had time for one quick-lap attempt.
