This change did not have an impact on the <b>Gresini Racing<\/b> riders\u2019 confidence, as both were able to better their lap-times.<\/p>\n<p>Fourth-placed at the end of qualifying was <b>Filip Sala\u010d<\/b>,<b> <\/b>and only two tenths away from pole position: this is an excellent result for the Czech rider, considering it was his maiden qualifying session in the middleweight class of MotoGP. Despite the not-ideal track conditions, the rider #12 managed to set his so-far personal quickest time already on lap number two, and then keeping a great pace throughout the session \u2013 something that bodes well ahead of tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alessandro Zaccone<\/b> also improved: following a difficult morning, he finally managed to improve his feeling under braking. This step forward allowed him to log his personal best time \u2013 narrowing the gap to the top down to 1.586 seconds. The goal of the #61 is to make another step forward set-up wise during warm up, in order to be ready for the opening encounter of his Moto2 career.<\/p>\n<p><b>P4 &#8211; FILIP SALA\u010c #12 (1\u201959.287)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cQualifying went really well: I managed to set a great time early on and then to keep a good and consistent pace throughout the session. It\u2019s incredible to be fourth at the end of my first-ever Moto2 qualifying, but the race is tomorrow however, and things will be different.
