Challenging conditions continued to be present in the second session too, in which both riders were able to improve ahead of qualifying.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alessandro Zaccone<\/b> was eventually fourteenth at the end of the day, and therefore clinching a provisional direct seed to Q2 as he showed great feeling with wet conditions.<\/p>\n<p><b>Filip Sala\u010d<\/b> did not stay out on track long due to track conditions in FP1 but was able to improve on his personal best lap-time in the following session, before it was cancelled by race direction due to a yellow flag situation. He is currently out of Q2 for only 97 thousandths of a second.<\/p>\n<p><b>14<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSANDRO ZACCONE #61 (2&#8217;03.070)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy with this opening day, we did well. I\u2019m only sorry for the fact that I got back to the pits towards the end thinking I had time to put the harder tyre on \u2013 as the track was drying up \u2013 but it was just a little to late to do it and get back on the track in time to have another quick-lap attempt. I had to stay in the pits and lost the opportunity to further improve on my lap-time in the last three minutes, a moment in which I knew I could have pushed harder. Despite that, we\u2019re still provisionally in Q2 and I\u2019m really happy about it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>16<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; FILIP SALA\u010c #12 (2&#8217;03.167)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was quite a difficult day with plenty of rain, but in the end I can say I\u2019m still happy with the result and the feeling with my bike. At the beginning I was quite scared by the tricky conditions of the track, but towards the end of FP2 I was still able to set a good lap-time, which was then cancelled due to a yellow flag situation. We know we can repeat it tomorrow, though.
