ANOTHER POINT FOR FINELLO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Race1 &#8211; #FrenchGP<\/i> The opening race for team <b>FELO Gresini Racing MotoE<\/b> at Le Mans was a positive one, with <b>Matteo Ferrari<\/b> able to secure a fourth-place finish at the chequered flag. The rider #11 started the encounter from fourth place and, after a big moment in the opening lap, he got up to speed showing a great pace that allowed him to recover a couple of places and bag 13 important points for his title chase.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alessio Finello<\/b> had a good start to the race as he overtook a couple of riders at turn one. The lack of experience \u2013 and track-time &#8211; in the series and at this circuit for the rookie #72 surely didn\u2019t help the Turin-born rider, who struggled to keep the pace in the following lap as he lost touch with the group ahead of him.<\/p>\n<p>The point scored today is surely a boost of confidence for the Italian, who has another shot tomorrow at 15:30 local time (GMT +2) in race two.<\/p>\n<p><b>4<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; MATTEO FERRARI #11<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy with the save on the opening lap and at the same time disappointed, because we had a great pace and that allow me to recover some positions. I\u2019m happy with the work we\u2019re doing and how I rode, I\u2019m very focused on improving my riding style in order to adapt it to the new tyres and I think we\u2019ve done a great job, because I was able to be quick in the last laps. This is very important ahead of tomorrow: we will try to start as good as today, but with the goal to stay in touch with the leaders from the get-go. If things work out at the beginning, I think we can play our part in the battle for the win.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>15<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSIO FINELLO #72<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a difficult race, especially in the first three laps as I struggled in finding the right confidence and be quick. I need to get used to this format without sessions before the race: I need to work a lot on it in order to find the right feeling straight away. I\u2019m still happy that I was able to get a good start: I managed to overtake a couple of riders at turn one and stay with them on the opening lap.
