Proceedings will get underway at Mugello, the second home round for the team after the \u2018adoptive\u2019 round at Mandalika, followed by Montmel\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>This will be a double opportunity to continue the top-level trend from one side of the pit-box, while continuing the learning curve on the other. The two tracks are in fact among the favourites for both standard bearers of Gresini Racing in the premier class.<\/p>\n<p>Historical recurrences: Gresini Racing only has a podium finish in MotoGP at Mugello (Gibernau in 2004 at the finish line with Rossi), while at Montmel\u00f3 there was a legendary one-two by Gibernau and Melandri in 2004 and 2005 (second and third) and also a third place by Sete in 2003.<\/p>\n<p>So far in his career, <strong>Enea Bastianini<\/strong> never finished higher than fifth (in 2015 with the Moto3 ran by Gresini) while at Montmel\u00f3 he has a race win (2018 Moto3), three more podiums in the quarter-litre class and a top-ten in his MotoGP debut last year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fabio Di Giannantonio<\/strong> has four podium finishes between Mugello (3) and Montmel\u00f3 (1). The #49 was on the podium three times in a row in Moto3 from 2016 to 2018, always with the team led by Fausto Gresini.<\/p>\n<p><strong>#23 \u2013 ENEA BASTIANINI (3<sup>rd<\/sup> in the championship standings with 94 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really love these two tracks, both are very exciting. I know the Montmel\u00f3 podium well, while despite feeling strong at Mugello, I am yet to step onto the podium there. Let\u2019s hope this year is the right one. We come from an to confirm our competitiveness.\u201d<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>#49 \u2013 FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO (22<sup>nd<\/sup> in the championship standings with 3 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMugello is really a special place for me, as I think it is for every Italian rider. With the full crowd, it will be incredible this year. Our goal is to at least repeat the same result of Le Mans, which without a doubt has brought confidence and extra motivation. It\u2019s obvious that I\u2019m looking for something more at Mugello because I love that place, so we\u2019ll try our best to do so. Montmel\u00f3 will also be important: it\u2019s a track a like and the round will be followed by a very important test for a rookie like me.
