The two morning sessions were key for the riders of team <strong>FELO Gresini Racing MotoE<\/strong> in order to fget up to speed on their electric motorcycles for the first time at this track while trying to set a competitive lap-time and get the best spot on the grid for the two races.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matteo Ferrari<\/strong> managed to display a competitive pace in free practice, which he finished in eighth place (combined times) and made it into Q2 from the main door. In qualifying, he set his best lap-time in 1\u201959.602secs as he claimed a second-row start.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alessio Finello<\/strong> produced his so-far best qualifying performance in MotoE and will start the two encounters from fourteenth place on the grid. The rider #72 managed to improve in the two free practice sessions, but also made a further step forward in qualifying. His goal in the race will be to fight with the group of riders and bag a few more points.<\/p>\n<p>Race1 will get underway tomorrow at 1625. Stay Tuned!<\/p>\n<p><b>5<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; MATTEO FERRARI #11 (1&#8217;59.602)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m quite happy with my qualifying performance, we did a good job: we improved in every session and after trying some adjustments in the free practice sessions, we took the right direction in qualifying. I improved my lap-time and even if I know we\u2019re still missing something, we have a good pace. The goal for tomorrow is to be a few tenths faster in order to battle with Aegerter, who was the fastest today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>14<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSIO FINELLO #72 (2&#8217;01.108)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m quite happy with qualifying, even though we could have made a further step forward. We will start the races from fourteenth place on the grid: each time out I\u2019m getting more confident in staying with the group. The gap with the leaders is still big, but I\u2019m sure tomorrow\u2019s race will be a good one and I will learn a lot from it.
