It was an important Saturday for the standard bearers of team <b>Gresini Racing Moto2<\/b>, who were both able to battle for pole position in Q2. <b>Filip Sala\u010d<\/b> earned a direct seed to qualifying two after FP3, while Zaccone had to go through Q1.<\/p>\n<p>The rider #12 had a great feeling with his Kalex machine in the third FP session, as an adjustment to the bike make a big difference in the performance of the Czech rider. Unfortunately, he was unable to capitalise on the promising result and was eventually 12<sup>th<\/sup> at the chequered flag of Q2, only three tenths away from pole position. <b>Alessandro Zaccone<\/b> made another step forward as, for the first time, he did make it into the final qualifying session in the Moto2 World Championship. The series rookie will line up on row six and will give his very best to secure some points for the standings.<\/p>\n<p>The 11<sup>th <\/sup>race of the season will get underway tomorrow at 12:20, before the five-week summer break begins.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>12<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; FILIP SALA\u010c #12 (1&#8217;37.124)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cFP3 went well: we made a set-up change and the bike was really perfect, so much that I was able to set my quickest lap-time in the first run \u2013 and with used tyres. We managed to earn our place in Q2, but then things didn\u2019t go as planned. I was unable to get up to speed and it showed lap-time wise. I\u2019m on row four tomorrow, so we can still make a difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>17<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSANDRO ZACCONE #61 (1&#8217;37.452)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy with today: we got our first access to Q2 in the season. I\u2019m sorry I was unable to make the most of it, but the bike was vibrating a lot and once I got back to the pits, we realised that the rear rim was bent, probably after hitting a kerb at the start of the session.
