RACE – #JapaneseGP<\/i> The sun finally shone on the Twin Ring Motegi \u2013 after Saturday\u2019s treacherous rain \u2013 with team Gresini Racing Moto2<\/b> on track for the sixteenth race of the season. Filip Sala\u010d <\/b>is back in the points after crossing the line in tenth place (from the second row of the grid), with the Czech rider bagging six points and sitting 21st<\/sup> in the standings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It was a short race, on the other hand, for Alessandro Zaccone<\/b>, who found himself in the gravel trap during lap five after a coming together with an opponent. The rider #61, who raced for the first time in Japan this weekend, is still experiencing some issues under braking: he will try to make some adjustments with the team ahead of the next round in Thailand.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

10<\/b>th<\/sup><\/b> – FILIP SALA\u010c #12<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cA very difficult race: I didn\u2019t get a good start and lost some positions immediately \u2013 and was down in ninth place at the end of the first lap. During lap three, the front-end tucked and almost crashed, an incident that cost me some more positions while I also lost touch with the front group. I found myself in a battle with a couple of other riders whom I was able to overtake during the final lap and defend my top-ten position. I pushed a lot in the final part of the race, but overall I\u2019m not happy with my race; I\u2019m really sorry that I was unable to give all I had in every lap \u2013 I was struggling a bit under braking. Now we need to think about the upcoming races!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately I crashed after a coming together with another rider. I\u2019m really disappointed because I\u2019m struggling a lot under braking: I got passed by a lot of riders in the early laps because I can\u2019t get my bike stopped.
