FP1 took place in wet and difficult conditions, with the asphalt of the Chang International Circuit drying up as the session went by. Free Practice 2 saw a significant improve lap-time wise on the dry, with <b>Filip Sala\u010d <\/b>able to finish 11<sup>th<\/sup> and currently in the lot of riders that could be seeded directly to Q2.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Alessandro Zaccone<\/b>\u2019s quick lap was cancelled by race direction as he exceeded track limits \u2013 meaning he ended up only 28<sup>th<\/sup> in Friday\u2019s FP combined times. Today was the first time for him around the Thai track, but despite that he is currently out of a direct seed to Q2 for less than a second. In case of a dry Free Practice 3, he will use the session to improve some more and try his best to make it to the final qualifying session from the front door.<\/p>\n<p><b>11<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; FILIP SALA\u010c #12 (1&#8217;37.094 ) <\/b>\u201cI\u2019m very happy with this Friday; the bike worked really well despite having some issues with the front-end towards the end of the session, which caused me to slide. I\u2019m confident about tomorrow, however, because I know we can do well. Now we\u2019ll work a bit more to further improve our lap-time and have a good qualifying.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>28<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSANDRO ZACCONE #61 (1&#8217;38.132) <\/b>\u201cI\u2019m disappointed because my best lap was cancelled, but unfortunately I exceeded track limits. I was unable to do another one as I was making either a small mistake or riding on the green strip. Too back, because I would have been around sixteenth.
