The rider #11 was among the protagonists from the get-go as he topped the combined FP timesheets which gave him the direct access to Q2. Once there, he once again finished on top with a time of 1\u201955.752secs, as he earned the most prominent spot on the grid for tomorrow\u2019s two races.<\/p>\n<p>It was a positive day also for Alessio Finello, who had a good feeling straight away with his Ducati motorcycle and managed to set the second-fastest speed of the day in 278.3kmh. The Turin-born rider narrowly missed on a Q2 direct seed and was eventually 13<sup>th<\/sup> in qualifying.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>1<\/b><b><sup>st<\/sup><\/b> &#x1f3af;<b> &#8211; MATTEO FERRARI #11 (1&#8217;55.752)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very happy; normally I\u2019m almost never quick in qualifying so the pole position for me is a very important thing. I made a great step forward and work hard at home; the team also worked very well and during practice we managed to create a good base set-up for tomorrow. We\u2019ll need to understand the temperatures as it\u2019ll likely be hotter in the afternoon, so we\u2019ll need to improve the overall setting. The positive thing is that we\u2019re aware of it, so if we\u2019ll work on it tomorrow we\u2019ll be ready!!<\/p>\n<p><b>13<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSIO FINELLO #72 (1&#8217;56.882)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy so-far best-ever Friday: we managed to get a good start in FP1, and then we improved further in FP2 and qualifying. I missed direct admission to Q2 for very, very little time, and the same happened in Q1. We\u2019re all very close and the level of the championship is very high. I can\u2019t be fully satisfied, however, as I want to race at the front, be consistently in the top ten and get into Q2: we\u2019re still have to work on these aspects. But I\u2019m still happy with the fact that we managed to improve in each session.
