The mixed conditions encountered in the afternoon did not allow him to further improve, but this first day bodes well ahead of qualifying.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Jeremy Alcoba also had a good day, as he finished half a second away from his teammate in FP1 and was eventually 12<sup>th<\/sup> in the combined classification. He is also at the moment among those riders with provisional access to Q2. Both <b>QJMOTOR GRESINI <\/b>standard bearers will need to be in the top 14 at the end of FP3 in order to not have to go through qualifying 1.<\/p>\n<p><b>4<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; FILIP SALA\u010c #12 (1&#8217;24.407)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a positive day for us: we were quick throughout all morning session in dry conditions, and we managed to set a competitive lap-time with the softer tyre. FP2 were characterized by mixed conditions, meaning we couldn\u2019t improve any further for today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>12<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (1&#8217;24.970)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy with today; we\u2019re twelfth and quite close to top six. The feeling was good in the dry and we saw where we can improve some more.
