The afternoon becomes almost as spectacular as the old qualifying session and the \u2018red helmets\u2019 are the key protagonists. Alex Marquez, who was also fast in the morning, managed to do well in today\u2019s crucial session as he logged a time in the low 1\u201959s and finished 10<sup>th<\/sup>. This is a result that will allow him to focus solely on the race pace and the key qualifying session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fabio Di Giannantonio finished half a second away from his teammate and he will have quite the challenge ahead in Q1 as he\u2019ll have to battle against Quartararo, Marquez and Bastianini among others. Bad weather could still play a part in tomorrow\u2019s proceedings as forecast.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>10<sub>th<\/sub> &#8211; ALEX MARQUEZ #73 (1\u201959.298)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe struggled a bit more this morning, but then we got things right for FP2. Maybe we would have deserved a better finishing position, but we got a good lap cancelled. Generally speaking, we had a good feeling straight away and after five weeks of break it wasn\u2019t a given. We still need to improve something grip-wise at the rear-end, but today we needed to seal the access to Q2 and we did it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>16<sub>th<\/sub> &#8211; FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #49 (1\u201959.714)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI was expecting to be quicker already this morning; in the afternoon we made an excellent step, even though it wasn\u2019t enough to get into Q2. We\u2019re still missing something riding wise and we need to work on the engine brake in order to perform better, but we can do a good job tomorrow.
