With a bitter taste in his mouth and eager to make amends, he gave it all in race two and scored a second-place finish, meaning 20 points and the third place in the standings, 16 points shy of series leader Torres and only one behind Casadei.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Alessio Finello<\/b> had contrasting feelings today, but surely positive with regards to race pace and speed: his electric Ducati machine is the fastest of all around the Red Bull Ring, with a top speed of 246.5 km\/h. What disappointed him were the result: he crossed the line 14<sup>th<\/sup> and 16<sup>th<\/sup> in the two races, respectively, and three tenths away from the points in the second encounter. The week-break before Barcelona will be helpful to recharge the batteries and get to the Catalan circuit with the will to take a bit more risks and to hopefully make a difference on the track.<\/p>\n<p><b>MATTEO FERRARI #11 (RACE1: 16<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b>; RACE2: <\/b>&#x1f948;<b>)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a really good weekend for us: we were very quick and had a good pace, especially at the end. Too bad for race one, I made an unexpected mistake and that cost us a bit of confidence but most of all a lot of points. I was fast also in race two but I lost some time at the beginning, and then I managed to recover: I was second and the points scored are very important for the standings, as we\u2019re 16 points behind the leader. Now we need to thing about the last four races: I want to return from Barcelona with a good points tally so I can fully enjoy the season finale, which will also be my home round.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>ALESSIO FINELLO #72 (RACE1: 14<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b>; RACE2: 16<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b>)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a difficult weekend, with ups and downs: we got past the halfway point of the season and it\u2019s time to make a difference. These have been the best two races of the season in terms of pace and gap from the leaders, but unfortunately the result is not a convincing one. In race two I was outside the top 15 but only few seconds away from the top ten.
