He struggled with new tyres though as he failed to improve his best lap-time set in the morning (1\u201945.574), which was the sixteenth quickest of today\u2019s combined FP classification.<\/p>\n<p><b>Filip Sala\u010d<\/b> had an unfortunate Practice1 session as he finished 22<sup>nd<\/sup> due to a tyre that was not performing as expected \u2013 which led to some extra challenge. He tried again in the second session, and he eventually improved as he logged a 1\u201945.595secs time, which was still not quick enough to grant him the direct access to Q2. The rider #12 is currently seventeenth right behind his teammate.<\/p>\n<p><b>16<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; JEREMY ALCOBA #52 (1&#8217;45.574)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe finished the morning\u2019s practice with a good feeling, which I was able to keep in the afternoon with used tyres. Then we put on the new set, and I immediately felt a huge difference and that prevented me from getting up to speed. We\u2019ll keep working ahead of tomorrow and we\u2019ll do our best to get directly into Q2.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>17<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; FILIP SALA\u010c #12 (1&#8217;45.595)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a difficult day for us. The early feeling was good, then we changed rear tyre, which wasn\u2019t performing as expected and therefore we couldn\u2019t do the time attack. I managed to improve in Free Practice 2, then we put a soft tyre on that was good, but the set-up wasn\u2019t ready as we couldn\u2019t get any data from the first session.
