{"id":33907,"date":"2023-09-03T16:04:29","date_gmt":"2023-09-03T14:04:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/catalangp-top10-per-alex-e-diggia\/"},"modified":"2023-09-03T16:05:16","modified_gmt":"2023-09-03T14:05:16","slug":"catalangp-top10-per-alex-e-diggia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/en\/catalangp-top10-per-alex-e-diggia\/","title":{"rendered":"#CATALANGP: TOP TEN FOR ALEX AND DIGGIA  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was surely a more positive day today at Montmel\u00f3 for Team Gresini MotoGP as in Alex Marquez\u2019s home race see the Spaniard finishing sixth, with an excellent ninth position for Fabio Di Giannantonio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These were two important results and surely not a given as Bastianini\u2019s crash on the opening lap forced both Gresini standard bearers \u2013 among others \u2013 off the track.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No consequences for Alex and Diggia who as soon as they made it back to the track (quick start procedure) managed to bag some important points for the season, also in light of the event at Misano starting in a few days\u2019 time.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>6th &#8211; ALEX MARQUEZ #73 (10th in the championship standings with 102 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe knew it would have been a long and challenging race and in the end it was. It was a survival race until the end. We struggled during the whole weekend and sixth is a positive result considering the crash we initial crash. The important thing is yhatWee keep growing and scoring points.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>9th &#8211; FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #49 (16th in the championship standings with 43 points)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cUnfortunately we can\u2019t have a better start than this and we\u2019ll have to work on it. I think I did an excellent race as I was likely the rider who overtook the most and I did my battle with the second group. Maybe I had something more in the second part of the race compared to Quartararo,Miller and Alex, but Fernandez and I got in each other\u2019s way.
