It was a good Friday for Fabio Di Giannantonio<\/strong> at Mandalika International Circuit, as the Italian comfortably sealed the direct seed to Q2 after an excellent second session of the day. Eighth-quickest and great feeling on a track that saw him in great shape last year as he secured his first \u2018direct trip\u2019 to Q2.<\/p>\n

Alex Marquez<\/strong>\u2019s Friday was less fortunate (with also a crash at turn 1) and he eventually chose to avoid any further risk after FP1. He will have a few more days of rest and recovery after giving it another try in Australia in less than a week.<\/p>\n

8<\/b>th<\/sup><\/b> – FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO (1\u201931.207)<\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cAs a first day it wasn\u2019t too bad. We\u2019ve been quick from the first run even if the feeling is not fantastic, especially in the quickest sections, but generally speaking everything is quite positive. The base is surely good. The new asphalt has more grip but there\u2019s only one line to follow, otherwise it gets tricky.\u201d<\/p>\n
