The Spanish rider did an excellent job in staying upright \u2013 there were a lot of crashes \u2013 and to take home an important result in this final stretch of the season.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For <strong>Filip Sala\u010d <\/strong>it was more of a missed opportunity: after a challenging weekend, the Czech rider had an incredibly good start (he went from 18<sup>th<\/sup> to 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in a few kms) but eventually crashed out of the encounter with 19 laps to go due to a highside at turn eight. He hit his right knee hard in the process, but nothing that will prevent him from taking to the track at Buriram in less than five days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>4<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; JEREMY ALCOBA #52<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI knew we had a great feeling in wet conditions in the warm up already. Then in the sighting lap I wasn\u2019t too sure anymore, so I thought about warming up the tyres properly in the early laps. After finding a little bit more confidence, I started to push, even though I had to be careful with some close calls. It went well, but I think we could have been on the podium today, so it\u2019s also a pity. I\u2019d like to thank the team because we were strong in every condition this weekend.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>DNF \u2013 FILIP SALA\u010c #12<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cConditions were really tough, but we were quick both in the warmup and in the race \u2013 so much so that in one lap I was able to recover 16 places\u2026 I saw that Arbolino was fast so I tried to stay in his slipstream without making any mistake. But then Garcia\u2019s crash happened right in front of me took some focus away &#8211; and I ended up crashing the same way he did.
