Race one today was a bit of a disaster as after he lost a few places from 11<sup>th<\/sup> on the grid at the start, he battled hard to recover some positions, but then crashed with few laps left: he was able to re-join the race and finish twelfth. He did better in race two, where he made a comeback up to eighth place.<\/p>\n<p><b>Alessio Finello<\/b> had an up-and-down Saturday as he crashed out of race one after only one lap: he also managed to jump back on the bike and return to action, eventually scoring a few points. He was also thirteenth at the end of race two, albeit with a better performance as he settled into a nice rhythm up to the chequered flag.<\/p>\n<p><b>MATTEO FERRARI #11 (12<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> RACE1 \u2013 8<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> RACE2)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cA race one to forget. Race two surely went better, we gathered some important data that during testing \u2013 due to bad weather \u2013 we couldn\u2019t obtain. I\u2019m happy with the race pace, but as we started so far back it wasn\u2019t enough. We\u2019re 29 points from first place: we need to get to Le Mans ready to bounce back!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>ALESSIO FINELLO #72 (13<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> RACE1 \u2013 13<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> RACE2)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a complicated day, especially in race one: I was really charged up and maybe a bit too eager, so I got the first corner of lap two wrong and ended up in the gravel. I was still able to re-join and finish thirteenth. Race two went better as I made a step forward. I\u2019m still missing something from the front guys, but we were definitely faster. We were thirteenth at the flag but at the end of a different race, we were quicker, and I had fun.
