Forced to go through qualifying one, <b>Matteo Ferrari <\/b>did all he could to finish in the top two, but with a time of 1\u201940.293 he only managed to finish fifth in that session. He will line up on the grid tomorrow in thirteenth place, ready for two comeback races on the track where only one year ago he scored a double win.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was an underwhelming day also for <b>Alessio Finello<\/b>, who struggled to get up to speed in Q1. With a time of 1\u201941.013, he finished qualifying in fourteenth place: he will line up alongside his teammate with his goal being the top ten.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>13<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; MATTEO FERRARI #11 (1&#8217;40.293)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was a challenging day: there was a small improvement between FP2 and qualifying, but it wasn\u2019t enough to make it into Q2; we\u2019re trying to find the right direction, little by little. We\u2019re starting from the back tomorrow but we\u2019re ready for two comeback races.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>14<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSIO FINELLO #72 (1&#8217;41.013s)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was quite the tough Friday: the first session went quite well, then in FP2 I started to struggle a little. I improved compared to last year but it\u2019s not enough anymore, I want to aim at the top ten. I will start tomorrow\u2019s two races from fourteenth place on the grid: I\u2019ll try my best to perform well but it won\u2019t be easy as we\u2019re far from the frontrunners. We\u2019ll try to work in order to narrow the gap down and find a solution in order to stay with the leading group.
