It was everything but an easy race, however, with track temperatures a lot lower compared to the previous two days and with a big battle for the podium, which was the #93 hard at work against Vi\u00f1ales, Diggia and Bastianini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The unfortunate turn of events happened after the chequered flag, with Marc being penalised due to an incorrect tyre pressure \u2013 which was partly created by a coming together at turn one. Sixteen seconds were added to his race total, which translated into a 10<sup>th<\/sup> final position and only six points under his belt.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Alex Marquez<\/strong>, who started from the front row, could not find the perfect pace and was ultimately eighth at the flag (before being promoted to 7<sup>th<\/sup> following his brother\u2019s penalty). Still, he managed to score some important points and get a confidence boost ahead of the Sachsenring, taking place in less than a week, where both riders will try to make amends before the summer break.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>4<sup>th<\/sup> at the line (10<sup>th <\/sup>after penalty) \u2013 MARC MARQUEZ #93<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cUnfortunately, even if by very little, we\u2019re outside the technical parameters regarding tyre pressure and therefore we accept the penalty. It\u2019s really a shame to leave here with such few points: we could have scored two fourth place finishes but\u2026 The coming together with Bastianini surely played a part but we\u2019re not looking for excuses, I was playing well with tyre pressure until that moment. Let\u2019s wrap up this weekend and turn our focus on Germany.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>8<sup>th<\/sup> at the line (promoted to 7<sup>th<\/sup>) &#8211; ALEX MARQUEZ #73<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt was a difficult race, even though overall it was a positive weekend. We struggled to make the bike turn with the hard front tyre, but we would have struggled too much with the soft option. We\u2019ll need to work already in Germany to understand how to improve.
