The Spanish rider turned his attention of race pace in Practice 1 and set a series of quick lap-times showing he has the right feeling with the bike as well as great potential ahead of Sunday\u2019s race.<\/p>\n<p>His teammate <b>Albert Arenas<\/b> finished 12<sup>th<\/sup> fastest and he is also within the group of riders that can be seeded directly to Q2 courtesy of a 1\u201923.499secs lap-time: this is of great advantage in light of the uncertainty regarding tomorrow\u2019s weather.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>9<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; MANUEL GONZALEZ #18 (1&#8217;23.327s)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was quite a positive day: we worked well with the bike and showed some good race pace, with a streak of several quick laps. The overall positioning is not what we\u2019d like as I couldn\u2019t put together the perfect lap-time so we\u2019re a little bit behind, but I feel good with the bike and I think we have a very strong potential at this track.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>12<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALBERT ARENAS #75 (1&#8217;23.499s)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis first day saw much lower temperatures compared to recent races, so let\u2019s see how tomorrow goes. Today we mainly worked for the race and at the moment, we\u2019re in Q2.
