Then a series of yellow flag situations prevented the #11 from setting the perfect time, but the feeling is good and, from seventh on the grid, he will be able to put up a fight in tomorrow\u2019s two races.<\/p>\n<p>Forced to go through Q1, <b>Alessio Finello<\/b> logged a 1\u201926.944secs lap-time: he was second when the session was interrupted by a red flag. As the action resumed, he could not improve his best lap and found himself third and out of Q2 for only two tenths of a second. He will start tomorrow\u2019s encounters from eleventh place on the grid, ready for two comeback performances.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>7<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; MATTEO FERRARI #11 (1&#8217;26.597s)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe most positive Friday of the year so far: we did a good qualifying, too bad because so many riders crashed and consequently there were plenty of yellow flag situation, which kind of cost me some feeling with the tyres. I still managed to improve my time, I gave my best. I had a small crash at turn one at the end, I was pushing while trying to find that something extra to get a few tenths faster. Now we need to understand what we\u2019re missing to stay with the top three, but we have a good pace for tomorrow and I know we can play our part in the races. I\u2019m happy with this Q2 and with the seventh place.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>11<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; ALESSIO FINELLO #72 (1&#8217;26.944s)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast year\u2019s Sachsenring weekend was one of the toughest of the season. The goal for this year was to improve: we managed to get a good feeling straight away as I even battle for a spot in Q2. We missed it for very little but I\u2019m happy, the gap from the frontrunners is getting smaller and smaller. I keep growing, as last year I was battling at the back, now for Q2.
