The final race before the summer break took place at the Sachsenring, the shortest circuit on the 2024 calendar (3.671km). The encounter took place over a 25-lap distance: Manuel Gonzalez<\/b> lined up on fifth place of the grid, ready to battle for top positions: he immediately encountered some challenges with the hard front tyre and struggled to get up to speed, losing some positions. The rider #18 did not give up and managed to finish the race in twelfth place, scoring four points.<\/p>\n
It was an uphill battle also for Albert Arenas<\/b>, who started from twenty-sixth position. The Spanish rider gave it all to make up as many positions as possible and was eventually twenty-first at the chequered flag. We chose the rear tyre at the front as it looked like the best option for the final part of the race but I didn\u2019t feel good with it already from the beginning as I couldn\u2019t get the bike turned where I wanted it to, and it was even difficult to keep the bike upright and make it to the finish line. We still gathered some useful information that will allow us to have a clearer idea on which direction to take for the next race.
