He was eager to do well, but also had the pressure to secure as many points as possible in order to clinch third place in the championship. He did all of the above, as aboard his Kalex machine he put together an intelligent race, carefully planned up to the last turn. He finished the 2024 season on the second step of the podium and with third place overall in the standings.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you, Manu, and farewell!<\/p>\n<p><b>Albert Arenas<\/b> had a solid race: after two difficult days, the Spaniard finally managed to put all the pieces together and from seventeenth on the grid, overtake after overtake, made it to the finish line in eighth place. Unluckily he later got disqualified for tyre pressure but today\u2019s race pace is a confidence boost for 2025, where Arenas will race once again with the Gresini family.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>2<\/b><b><sup>nd<\/sup><\/b><b> &#8211; MANUEL GONZALEZ #18 (3<\/b><b><sup>rd<\/sup><\/b><b> in the championship standings with 195 points)<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur main goal today was to secure the third place in the championship standings. This circuit has always been a special one for me and the team gave me a bike that was basically perfect: I could have fought for the win, but I didn\u2019t want to jeopardise the main goal. It was an impressive day!\u201d<\/p>\n<p><b>8th -&gt; NC &#8211; ALBERT ARENAS #75 (14<\/b><b><sup>th<\/sup><\/b><b> in the championship standings with 80 points)<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy with today\u2019s race: we managed to make our way back from the back of the grid. We managed to find some traction, which allowed me to finish the race with a good pace and not too far from the podium. I\u2019d like to thank the team for all the work they have done; I\u2019m also happy for Gonzalez and his third place in the championship, they were great.
