\u201cI\u2019m very much satisfied with today: we had a challenging morning and we became aware of it especially in FP2, where we were very consistent throughout the session. We had made a good time that could have allowed us to earn the direct seed to Q2, but it got cancelled. Honestly speaking though, I\u2019m happy I had to go through Q1, it was a key session, which allowed me to feel a few important things. I\u2019m happy I made it through, we made another step forward: we\u2019re still missing something, but the pace improved a lot from FP2 and I\u2019m quite happy with it. We understood the direction and we\u2019ll keep working this way. It\u2019ll be important to score as many points as possible tomorrow and to stay calm, as we did between FP2 and qualifying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst qualifying of the season: we\u2019ll be 12th on the grid. Obviously I\u2019m not happy with either the result or the position: I know I can do a lot better, the feeling is still not ideal, but we know where we have to work on. I struggled a bit in Free Practice, while in qualifying we were able to find the right direction. We can have a comeback race tomorrow, we deserve a different position: it\u2019ll be key to have a good start and keep a good and consistent rhythm throughout the race.”.<\/p>\n
