Matteo Ferrari<\/b> sits third in the standings, just 12 points behind the leader, with 50 points still up for grabs in the final two races taking place at Portim\u00e3o, on the Algarve International Circuit \u2014 a track famous worldwide as roller coaster for its ups and downs, a layout that perfectly suits the style of the Rimini-born #11 rider. Staying focused and collecting as many points as possible in Race 1 will be key, before going all-in in Race 2. Ferrari, the first-ever MotoE World Cup Champion back in 2019, wants to close the circle and bring the title back home to the Gresini Racing.<\/p>\n
It will also be an emotional weekend for his teammate Alessio Finello<\/b>, who comes from a challenging season but heads to Portugal with renewed determination and higher expectations. This will be the final weekend for MotoE and therefore the last one of Finello with the FELO GRESINI MotoE team, which over these past four years together, has truly become a family to him. These emotions will serve as extra motivation to aim for stronger results and finish the season on a high.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe arrive in Portim\u00e3o with a great feeling: especially from mid-season onwards, we\u2019ve done an excellent job \u2014 always consistent and fast on every track, always fighting for the podium. This allowed us to reopen the championship, and I\u2019m really happy about that. We\u2019re coming into the final round 12 points behind the leader, and I\u2019ll approach the weekend working hard from the very first session, with the goal of staying up front and focusing only on the races. We\u2019re all very close in the standings, and the two races will be tense because, of course, we\u2019re fighting for the title \u2014 but that will only give us more strength. We\u2019ve done a great job, and the fact that we\u2019re here fighting for the top spot proves it. Portim\u00e3o is a circuit where we haven\u2019t ridden much, but I really like it, it\u2019s fast and flowing, with its up&down, just the way I like it. We have a solid base to work from, and now the goal is to enjoy this last MotoE weekend \u2014 my last one with Gresini colors. There will be a lot of emotions, and I\u2019m sure it\u2019s going to be an amazing weekend!\u201d<\/p>\n

I feel fit, I\u2019ve also been training by competing in the Italian Championship, so I can\u2019t wait to get back on track.
