With ever-changing track conditions after an early downpour &#8211; which resulted in an extra challenge for all riders &#8211; the 21-year-old Spaniard kept improving his pace up to a personal best lap-time 1\u201933.979.<\/p>\n<p>As the session got to its final minutes, however, the Federal Oil Team Gresini rider moved up to a provisional second row qualifying before a crash a turn three deprived him of the chance to keep fighting for a good starting position.<\/p>\n<p>Navarro, who escaped uninjured from the tumble, will launch off the grid, along with the rest of the Moto2 field, at 12:20 local time (GMT +2).<\/p>\n<p><strong>18th &#8211; JORGE NAVARRO #9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been a complicated day.\u00a0I didn\u2019t have a good feeling on the dry, while in qualifying I got up to speed immediately and without that crash I\u2019m sure we would have been much closer to the front of the grid.
