The results were positive: the Spaniard had very little pain, except from some backache, and his lap-times were competitive. Martin only completed 17 laps today as he set the fifth fastest lap-time of time in 1\u201959.429secs, only three tenths away from the top of the timesheets.<\/p>\n<p>It was a good day also for <strong>Fabio Di Giannantonio<\/strong>, who is looking forward to bettering his so-far best result at <em>Arag\u00f3n<\/em> \u2013 a fourth place in 2016 \u2013 after returning to podium ways in front of his home crowd at Misano. The front-end of his Honda NSF250RW is still causing him some issues, but there will still be the whole Saturday to improve on that department and be ready for the race.<\/p>\n<p>On-track action will resume tomorrow at 9:00 local time (GMT +2) for the FP3, with qualifying set to get underway as usual at 12:35.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; JORGE MARTIN #88<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs it often happens, I was able to find a good feeling with the bike straight from the get go, so I\u2019m happy. I tried the softer compound but I didn\u2019t like it much and I ran wide when I was on my way to set the fastest lap-time of the day. I was quick even when I rode on my own and I think we\u2019re ready for the race. I feel good, although my back is still sore after last week\u2019s crash. In any case, I don\u2019t think it\u2019ll be a problem for the race.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>13<sup>th<\/sup> &#8211; FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThings went quite good this morning, although there is still work to be done. The front-end of the bike is the area where we need to improve the most as I still struggle under braking. There\u2019s not much rear grip, but I think it\u2019s more due to the track conditions than else. The afternoon session was kind of a waste of time, because the track conditions were good, but not good enough to be lapping in the 1\u201957.
