{"id":7265,"date":"2017-11-07T10:07:47","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T09:07:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/en\/team-del-conca-gresini-moto3-va-all-valencia\/"},"modified":"2017-11-07T10:08:30","modified_gmt":"2017-11-07T09:08:30","slug":"team-del-conca-gresini-moto3-va-all-valencia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gresiniracing.com\/en\/team-del-conca-gresini-moto3-va-all-valencia\/","title":{"rendered":"ONE MORE SHOT AT THE WIN FOR MARTIN AND DI GIANNANTONIO AT VALENCIA  \u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2017 Moto3 World Championship has been no doubt a successful one for <strong>Team Del Conca Gresini Moto3<\/strong>, but there is still something missing: the 8 pole positions, 13 podiums and the 70% chance than at least one of the two riders would make it to the top-3 in the race (only five races out of 17 without a rostrum finish) still do not include a win. <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The team did come very close to it in a number of occasion: <strong>Fabio Di Giannantonio <\/strong>was inches away from the top step twice at Mugello and Alca\u00f1iz, even more times did <strong>Jorge Martin<\/strong>, so victory can be their only goal for the season finale of the quarter-litre class of MotoGP.<\/p>\n<p>The \u2018Ricardo Tormo Circuit\u2019 will also be the other chance for team Gresini riders to change their position in the standings. Martin is still mathematically in contention for the top-3, while Diggia needs only three points to seal fifth place, with his team mate\u2019s fourth place being 18 points away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>JORGE MARTIN #88<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to racing at Valencia. It has been a very positive year for us and it will be important to finish on a high note and then focus on 2018. We will work mostly with used tyres \u2013 like we did in Australia and Malaysia &#8211; in order to be ready for the race. I hope it will be a good last event and that we\u2019ll have the best reasons to celebrate it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO #21<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like Valencia a lot, even though the last memory I have of this track was the injury I suffered at the start of the year. Last year we were competitive and quick there, and we took a fifth-place finish after an overall positive weekend. The flyaway rounds didn\u2019t go as planned and we were quite beat down when we came back.
