The Spaniard was eighth at the end of FP1 \u2013 as well as in the combined times from today\u2019s two session \u2013 and less than eight tenths away from provisional pole as he enjoyed riding his Kalex machine #9 with hard tyres.<\/p>\n<p>Navarro\u2019s feeling in the afternoon session was a lot different as the track was soaked wet, and the rider of <strong>Team Federal Oil Gresini Moto2<\/strong>was never comfortable around the long and fast English circuit. Jorge was 18<sup>th<\/sup>fastest after completing 12 laps.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that the rain should become a memory for the next two days as sun is forecast upon Silverstone. Moto2 action will resume with FP3 at 10:55 local time (GMT +1), which will be followed by qualifying at 15:05.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>8<sup>th<\/sup>&#8211; JORGE NAVARRO #9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis morning we had time to do a good job: we tried both tyre options and I can say that \u2013 surprisingly \u2013 I feel a lot more comfortable with the harder one! The soft tyre wears out a bit too much and makes the bike slide.
